It easy to play but difficult to play good tone, technic and beautiful. Thanks for sharing good information 👍

Dear Wou, nice to read from you again. You are absolutely right. The technical aspect is no burden and gives you plenty of headroom to focus on your musicality and personal interpretation. This is the key strength of my artistic mentoring program. What piece are you practicing at the moment? I am thankful for your support of my work, there are more videos to come very soon, new interviews, new pieces. Stay tuned Wulfin

Dear Wou, well I can definitely tell you have a wonderful taste in music. This is a magnificent piece from Sylvestre Fonseca, it has a very unique combination of sweetness and melancholy, which portuguese componists master so well. Though it is not a beginner piece, I tend to agree with you, it is a piece that has all those musical qualities, where you can invest most of your practicing on your expression. If you practice this piece with your heart, you will overcome the technical aspect rapidly, I am confident. Do not give up. Cheers, Wulfin

Dear Brynmor, thank you so much for watching my discussion on Lágrima from Francisco Tárrega. I fully agree with you, Tárrega's influence on the guitar music goes beyond his own époque, the romantic. If you would listen to more Tárrega pieces check out my latest release from last week, played on antonio de Torres's most famous guitar, la Leona from 1856. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZ-wdoSKnslkjrcsi=5bpQr6iv_DeOpsad You have built your own guitar this is impressive, do you have any recording of you playing, i would love to discover your interpretation. Best, Wulfin

It has been said that Lacrima marks the transition from ‘beginner’ to ‘medium stage’ (Mittelstufe) - but the piece is also played by the ‘advanced’ and ‘professional’ guitarist as part of the standard repertoire.

Good issue, Jens! Well Lagrima is just beautiful, almost as one of the great Schubert songs...so why hesitating to perform it on any level. And a non-guitaristic audience will love the piece. Do you play it? Best regards Wulfin

@@WulfinLieske I do :) And I alway enjoy this opportunity to play with romantic agogics. As the title hints, this piece needs to be played with emotion. And yes, beautiful it is. That moment when the initial major third reappear after the minor section - it’s heartbreaking… Thank you for answering, br Jens
