This organist is truly one of the greats. His interpretation of the Reinberger 3rd organ sonata is heavenly. I thought Daniel Roth was the best organist at this piece, but I think he is now second best. Wonderful playing, a true master.

REALLY great organist... sometimes... his phrasing can be a little to "choppy" or the rubato tooo extreme for my taste... and those were just a few minor spots... NEVER the less... I'm still in agreement with you... he's one of the REALLY great ones!!! and when he's on... NO ONE BETTER!

Why the fermata on the opening 8th note? And others that follow. Also, Franck did not write a ritard at the end. Let alone a huge one. Other than that, awesome organ and playing. The pedaling in the notorious passage is amazing to see. Unconventional but it works.

There are a lot of implied musical references in this style of music.
