28mm Napolionics, ambition and commitment are two words that come to mind. Keep at it. Life-long hobby for sure. Accumulate and paint as time allows.

Thank you very much. I really enjoyed putting the staff group together, I like the process of choosing and posing the different figures and creating little dioramas even if they don't necessarily serve much purpose in a game!

Difficult to pick my favourtie unit here but it would have to be the Cuirassiers there at the end, closley followed by your diorama and Command bases. Excellent work.

Thanks, I enjoy arranging the vignettes for the command bases, it's a good break from turning out units. The cuirassiers are up there as some of my favourite miniatures that I've painted so far.

Thank you, very kind - I'm glad you noticed the medals, I did paint them to be different according to images I could find; there's even a tiny green stripe on the outer edges of the yellow ribbon I believe despite how hard it is to see!

Could you do a whole collection of the different army’s?
@thelastbattalion35093 жыл бұрын
It's something that I might do as some point in the future, although I would need a lot more room to do so. It would be a nice thing to do once I've got the overall collection to a decent point.

hey man. have you ever considered doing some Danish infantry? im from Denmark myself and im super interrested in the danish forces in the 1813 german campaign. on the perrys website they are available. love your videos. keep up the good work😃
@thelastbattalion35093 жыл бұрын
I haven't, although I am aware of the Danish troops of the period. If I had more resources I might paint small groups of interesting figures from different nations. It's not impossible that I might do so one day, there are just so many tempting miniatures on the Perry's site!

Fantastic collection, skilfully painted. Like your basing for the levels of command. I am researching the Irish legion for a bit of a challenge, I painted them in 15mm about 25 years ago, always a favourite on the table! The leader mounting the horse is of interest, what company produces that figure please.?

Subbed. A board game, hex n counter, flamed my desire to delve into miniatures. White Dog Games. Plancenoit, Crisis on the Right 1815. Prussians. Destroyed French. Till then I was lightly getting into miniatures, mostly with some DnD figures from last century. So far fantasy type figures no magic. I'm getting close to fulfilling my desire to have a hundred figure Orc army. But I have some Napoleonics figures British French and Prussian that I need to get built and painted and onto the table hopefully this year. 28 mm. They're all infantry and I made that decision to get the feel for this time period combat first. Cav n artillery can always be added later. Your fingers look most excellent and I look forward to seeing more. Unfortunately between carpal tunnel and arthritis and other neurological issues my hands are almost trash and my pain skills leave a lot to be desired but for my table my figures are good enough. Again thank you for the review of your troops

Here's a question that I've been wondering about. Why base your Infantry 6 and 8 to a base? Looks really good just wondering why you do it. Either way smashing stuff.
@thelastbattalion3509 Жыл бұрын
Thank you - good question! It’s to do with the frontage. Carnage & Glory 2 deals in the real frontage that a certain number of men would occupy, I then had to divide that up and see how many figures in the chosen scale would fit the on the base neatly. I’ve tried to keep to an even number and split the number of bases per unit into and even number where possible. For standardisation sake 6 or 8 seemed to work best as I recall, there is a little bit of fudge factor to trade off between real life practicality of mounting the models pleasingly and the historical frontage. Hope that helps!
@remeythecat1502 Жыл бұрын
@@thelastbattalion3509 Yep, that helps. Will you be doing any more Carnage & Glory 2 at any point. Probably one of, if not, the best videos I've watched of a battle report.
@thelastbattalion3509 Жыл бұрын
@@remeythecat1502 Very kind of you to say so - short answer yes, long answer I have best intentions but there’s always something. I have multiple projects intended for C&G 2 I just need to finish some of them and/or run some smaller games. There’ll be more of them in time.
