Polifemo fue el último trabajo del compositor napolitano Nicola Porpora compuesta para la Ópera de la Nobleza en Londres, una empresa en competencia directa a la compañía de ópera de Georg Friedrich Händel. Mientras Handel tuvo que recurrir a la adición de renombre compañías de ballet y coros fulminante a sus producciones, con el fin de atraer a una audiencia, Porpora ha dependido en esta ocasión de la capacidad vocal del cantante castrado más famoso de la época del barroco Carlo Broschi "Farinelli".

Thank you Leila for taking part ... that good that you have liked. I am charmed with it and this Frango Fagioli's interpretation seems to me to be brilliant... this Polifemo's aria of the composer Porpora is wonderful, and Fagioli interprets it marvellously, with this serious and sharp incredible.

This is perhaps the piece that has impressed me the most technically from Fagioli. Formidable technique that can easily deal with the extravagant demands of this type of writing for the voice. Bravo Franco!

Je relance cette aria spectaculaire !!! Que des pièges pour la voix, que des défis ! Fagioli avec ses capacités vocales et son énergie attaque le morceau avec courage et acharnement de haut en bas, sans relâche! . Incroyable performance !!! Dommage pour le son et les bruits parasites et merci Meinzul de nous avoir fait un rappel historique passionnant .

Merci pour participer ... que bon qui t'a plu. Il m'enchante et cette interprétation de Frango Fagioli me semble géniale... cette aria de Polifemo du compositeur Porpora est merveilleuse, et Fagioli l'interprète très bien, avec ceux-ci graves et minces incroyables.
