I got a 3mm DC Franco at 20”. I use it as an accent piece and pair with 22” 6mm Cuban . I think that when the sizes are too close a round or box chain swallows the Cuban

Hey man, I have a 23" Franco 4mm. Looking to cop a 21" Miami Cuban to layer - as I like the look of the Miami sitting above the Franco Unsure of what size to get for the Miami (aware that the round look of the Franco pops out more than a flat Miami, giving it a "bigger" look) Any recommendations? Should I get a 4mm Miami? or 4.5? I don't want the Miami to outshine the Franco, but don't want it to be totally dwarfed by the Franco haha.

Hey, I know what you mean! Just wanted to confirm something, you mentioned that the Franco has a round look which unless it's a diamond cut it shouldn't have. Normally Franco's are squared out unless you're referring to a different type that I'm unaware of. So are you for sure looking at a Franco and a Miami or were you thinking about a different chain and accidentally wrote franco?

@@kevskee87 that's a great question bro. Unfortunately I don't have a DC Franco to give you the best idea but a Franco in general even if it's diamond cut is going to look extremely fat. If you want it to look approximately the same I think that you'd have to go with a 4.5 mm miami. Again, this is off the top of my head because I don't have the chain to give you the exact dimensions but I believe that a 4 mm diamond cut Franco next to a 4.5 mm Miami will look like approximately the same millimeter. Now if you want to border on the safe and conventional side I would say keep your 4 mm Franco and then go with a 4 mm Miami cuban. The Miami Cuban should in theory look just a bit smaller which will give you a smaller link on the inside a larger link on the outside and give a nice balanced and conventional look. That's what I'm thinking right now bro.

Disagree about the same length looking bad. I don’t see it as the Franco dwarfing it, but rather they are playing on different levels. It’s dimension. I think it looks particularly good, actually.

I bet you occasionally get comments like “get to the point” or “work from a script.” Ignore them. What makes your content better than 95% of the chain content out there is you are saying what you actually think, based on your extensive experience and testing. You answer actual questions. That’s not always brief or clean. Watching you, I get to hear way more about what it’s actually like to own/wear/pair the piece. Streamlining content like this removes anything that isn’t simple enough to fit in some polished Tiktok. That removes most of the actual content. Sometimes you don’t have conclusions to your thoughts about some things but have the balls to share your thought process and in turn that gets the viewer thinking. It’s interactive, and honest and actually useful. People doing slick scripted vids like they work for the jewelry companies are of no use to me. Same with guys filming the chain on a table, pushing around with two fingers and picking it up and putting it down, going “it’s definitely got some weight to it.” You try them on, you show the from a distance, you share your actual thoughts. This is how it’s done.

Thats not true, a rope chain of same width looks smaller than a fanco. Also even though he is the best at showing us the chains from different points and distance, his neck is thinner than the average men neck. So if you like how an 18inch fits on him then you should get a 20inch for the same look.

I want to hear someone opinion. I lQQkkng to purchase a Franco D/C 6.7mm 26inch . How much you think that would cost? I am 6’1 weight 235 pound. I have a big neck. So that why I looking at 26. When I work out my back and trap and shoulders show alot.

A solid 14k 6.7 mm franco 26inch will be almost 9,000 and weight like 150 grams. Even if you have the money to spend on that is not worth it. Those chains are thick all around. I have a 18k 2.5mm 20 inch DC franco and looks awesome with a small pendant. I also have a 3mm 22inch that sometimes I wear as solitary. Because of francos thick nature they look and wear bigger than other chains of same width. Going over 5mm in width and over 24inch in length on a franco doesnt look good. The perfect length is between 20 to 22 inch. But if you have above average neck size like you said and big traps probably a 22 to 24 will suit you best but not any longer. Also francos are more suitable to wear with pendants. Ironically big muscle dudes can rock the thin chain with pendant look the best . I think they also do it because is more comfortable since they are so active. I dont know what your style is so I cant tell you which chain to get. But dont go for such a big franco. Sometimes less is more and suits people better. I get lots of compliments with my small chain and pendant. Is very versatile. You can wear it with any tee and also with bottom up shirts with the top unbutton. And if you are fit even better. The only chain that looks good thick and the best as solitaire are the Miami Cuban links (most popular will never be out of style), Ropes (very versatile and best bang for your buck) and Figaros ( a classic). I love francos they look great are super study and the best to wear with pendants. So to answer your question yea 24 inch 5mm will look alright and cost 5k+, but in that case a Miami Cuban link sounds like a better option ( better price and look)

I think if you have a flat chain like a Cuban and you’re stacking with a Franco or rope style chain, the flat chain looks best if it’s a bit shorter than the other chain
