Francoise Hardy demonstrated extraordinary grace under pressure here, given the patronizing line of the questioning. She is greatly missed.

Interviewer cheeky, not patronizing. Non-serious. French movies from that period are full of that questioning style.

@aimée Yes, thing. Thing like in the completely harmless sense. Thing as a reference to all things which magnifies my sentiment about her beauty. The sun, the sky, the "me" are all things. Thing like the word only keyboard warriors with too much time on their hands would be upset about. Listen, leave the outrage to the things that actually deserve it.

@@cmonman89"Leave the outrage to the things that actually deserve it." Otherwise it's a waste of energy. Francoise Hardy - (English) Message Personnel (In English) kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGrHZpJ3gdmcisU At the end of the line is the sound of your voice and the words that I can't that I never shall say those words that people fear when they don't make them laugh that have been too often in books, songs and movies words I'd like to tell you and words I'd like to live words I never shall say : I want to, I just can't I'm so lonesome I could die and I know where you are I'm coming, wait for me, I know you, you know me Will you spare me some time 'cause I'll give you all mine I'd like to come to you, but I always stay I never come to you : I want to, I just can't I ought to speak to you, I ought to be with you or at least try to sleep I'm afraid you'll be deaf, I'm afraid you'll escape afraid I'm too forward and I never shall say that I've fallen for you but if you think you could love me tomorrow don't be afraid of memories and sorrow we'll flee the past where we can leave tomorrow come and rescue me if you think you could love me tomorrow don't be afraid if the path looks narrow between the past and the life tomorrow come and rescue me if you're fed up with your life and find no way when every day is just another yesterday think of me, think of me but if you think you could love me tomorrow don't wait a day, don't waste a time you can't know where will your life lead from here tomorrow come and rescue me if you think you could love me tomorrow run, take my hand, and where you go I'll follow I need a sign so I can let my love show come and rescue me if you're fed up with your life and find no way when every day is just another yesterday think of me, think of me but if you..." Conservative people loved her, she respected old people, was always very polite and naturally humble. Her songs were very sweet and they enjoyed it. The lyrics were never gross. Conservative people did not appreciate Johnny Hollyday, this is true but FH was sweet, calm and elegant,.they liked her behaviour. I am 63 y.o, you can trust me (my memory is excellent)

Who is the singer "Barbara" that Francoise refers to near the end.....?
@crunch6426 жыл бұрын
+ Salvador Lopez Rivera Negative, it is not Barbra Streisand. Françoise refers to Barbara (with three "A", not two, née Monique Andrée Serf), a French composer / singer older than Françoise (she died end of 1997), who dressed in long black gown, with a "sharp" face, writing in a very poetic style, often "engagé".. Among main titles, "L'aigle noir" (the black eagle), "Pierre", "Goetingen", "À mourir pour mourir", "Nantes", "Dis quand reviendras-tu", "La Solitude", "Ma plus belle histoire d'Amour, c'est Vous" etc ... See Wikipedia-UK. Wishing you all a happy new year.
