I First saw Frank at the Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh on the Modern Ruin tour... energy i hadn't seen in years in a band. Saw them again supporting Biffy at Bellahouston in 2021. Now I'm a massive Biffy fan..saw them the first time at a festival in Ireland with about 300 people... Frank was the star of the Bellahouston gig for me... and a cover of Ace of Spades.... WOW As a slight point - I don't think Sticky is as well produced as Modern Ruin or End of Suffering (or earlier stuff) so it doesn't exude the energy... that all said... Frank and the Rattlesnakes... keep bringing it ...please

I'm not gonna lie I'm a little disappointed. FCATR has become renowned for its grit and saying that which most songs won't. Lyrically the prior albums are amazing, this one feels lacklustre so far. This song for example, in the promotions you say about how the patriarchy is an issue, which I totally get, but then the lyrics of the song don't mention a patriarchy at all. I also see what people have been saying about the more musical side of things. So far this new album is entirely collaborations with other artists, and while that does get the new artists recognition, it feels like the FCATR fans are just being left behind. Evolving your music is one thing but I feel like this is going beyond that at this stage. It's not to say I don't support you as an artist, these are all my personal opinions. However, between this and everything that's been happening with randomly cancelling gigs (not even an "it's a personal issue") I'm getting a little disheartened.

I think you need to look further than a literal word in the lyrics, read between the lyrics. As much as I am a Gallows and FCATR fan I don’t mind the transition they’re making. It’s still punk af in my opinion.
