John gets a lot of blame for talking in that apartment, talking about the crimes they committed in general, but it wasn’t just him- it was practically every boss before and after him too that got caught on wires. Castellano, Tony Salerno, Gigante, Tony Ducks, Gerry Lang, Dellacroce, Amuso and Gaspipe… the list goes on. I think these guys grew to be so powerful and were used to being so much smarter than everyone that they never believed the Feds could one day outsmart them at their own game. I think they all knew there was a chance they’d go to prison, but deep down idk if all of them ever truly believed prison is where their life would end because of the the things they said in private.

But see John Gotti had support from all 5 boroughs in the Gambino Family and Majority vote was 2-1 in favor of Paul Castellano going it was kill or be killed. Plus the Bonanno family supported John Gotti. So Phil Leonetti who was Philly UnderBoss who would have met with the Commission and close to the Genovese family. Sammy is a liar and Anthony don't worry bout Gravano black balling you cause for 30 plus years Gambino Family headquarters John Gotti did all his time how much did Sammy do 11 months cried on the phone and was selfish and ratted John Gotti was bugged in his home didn't give up the commission like Paul Castellano in his kitchen or Tony Ducks Corallo in his car or Fat Tony in the candy store and Gerri Lang in the restraunt. I'd like to know whether or not if Sammy was the rat who gave up the apartment I always thought Buddy Dellacroce did why else would John wanna supposedly kill him or be on the run someone who ratted then was scared of someone like John Gotti who was Captain from 1972-1985 then the Boss curious Anthony Ruggiano who do you think the unnamed informant that gave up the apartment the FBI said high level informant
