Frank Kelly - NICKY GRIST STAGES EVENT VLOG - Wales 2021

What a day on the gravel roads in the heart of Wales on the Nicky Grist Stages.
Very challenging dusty conditions for everyone involved but a great surface to slide around on. We couldn’t live with David Crossan/Aileen Kelly’s pace and the historic boys were flying, but our Cooper Tires kept us on the road and going forward and I was more than happy to come away with second in class.
Great atmosphere in the service park and it’s good to see some kind of normality return to rallying. Hopefully we'll have spectators back soon.

God knows how you can read while being rag dolled by an angry escort lol . When I read in the passenger side of the car I get travel sick .Never would I ever be a Co driver lol 😆 the dash would be all sick if it was me with the notes lmao . Hats off to you for doing that job .Looks awesome as long I wasn't reading but going shotgun in a rally car is on my bucket list 👍👌😀

@@russcattell955i lol I just can't read in a car or I get proper sick lol 😅 I'm fine for long journeys and normal travel .I also was watching on board crazy rally moments and a wasp or bee was stinging the co driver while trying to do pace notes he kept going whilst it was stinging face man is well dedicated to his job lmao 🤣😆

I trained myself by reading while riding in cars on the street every chance I got. I never puked in a rally car but during my 3rd or 4th event I had to put the notes down and watch where we were going for about a minute or I would have. Never felt sick in a car again. I haven't co-driven a rally car for more than 25 years but I'm still 100% immune to motion sickness.

You could see your more conservative exit from corners, letting the torque do the work, I love your videos, you are a great team of down to earth people, love the notes!
