Base board heaters I was told was a expensive way to heat a house .

Are many ways to keep warm the house. Depending of many factors to determine what it is the best way to heat a house. It is not easy do an answer without seeing and anylizing the house. In that case I am not aware of the system used, but at that time maybe was the only way to have it. So the dilema was heat your house doing confort or not having any system. That's the key question at that time! Thank you for watching!

Depends on the relative costs of available energy. Baseboard heaters do allow individual room T-stats which saves energy.

@@callmeishmael7452 Let me explain better. It is not depend on the energy cost to reduce the amount of energy bill. The most important is having a better insolation, reduce the lost of energy from the house and them use materials that keep warm or stable of energy changes depending on the type of construction and use. All these factors are crucial to reduce energy consumption. Then use the most efficient system, that's a second key point, but firstly is the architecture. Unfortunately at that time Wright were not much conscientious in that because he created art but today, is a key point to add in our new buildings. We learnt from the past.

The narration repeats to the point of annoying and distracts from the presentation. I ended up muting to get through this.

Agree - I didn't even bother going all the way to the end, stopped at 6:15. Sorry, content creator, this was just not an interesting presentation - and I love FLW videos! Maybe the images / photos / videos available were limited, but then maybe don't bother or make the presentation a LOT shorter.
