White Ferrari and Moon River are some of Frank's most beautiful works, and they've made me feel emotions I didn't know I was capable of feeling . They're about two lovers who slowly drift apart due to their own inherent differences, and they realize they just aren't compatible like they once thought they were. Things aren't the same as when they first met and they decide to part ways because they know it's best for them. And that's more heartbreaking than any traditional breakup song could ever be, in my opinion at least. God bless Frank Ocean, man.

i know most people associate this song with drifting apart from a loved one, but it’s been almost a year since the pandemic hit close to my town as i’m sure it’s hit everyone’s. and i can’t help but cry at the thought that we’ll never get the time we lost back. my senior year of hs was ended in march and i remember all of my friends thinking we’ll just have a week to relax, and all of a sudden the entire world shut down. i could care less about the events i missed like prom, i just wish i could’ve hugged my friends that day and told them how much they meant to me. most of us have drifted apart and are in college or working, i pray they’re all safe. listening to franks songs just makes me miss them so much, even the people i wasn’t all that close to. the faces i would see in the hallway, i wonder if they’re okay and happy. my issues are microscopic compared to those who have lost a loved one due to this terrible virus, and i hope if you’re suffering bc of covid be it physically, financially, or mentally, that you’re okay. we will get through this, and we’ll come out stronger when it is over. stay safe, i love you.

I LOVE this edit. I feel like it puts a more detailed story to who Moon River is and what it means to Frank Ocean. Moon River also being a song that's been played by different artists throughout the years and this is one way of Franks Moon River story. The one where she/he, Moon River, thinks of life as if it's nothing too exciting and she/he is already done with everything that life has been offered to her/him, i got that by the lines "you say we're small and not worth the mention" and "you're tired of moving your bodies aching". Moon River lets you know the idea of this relationship and how Frank, in the end, realizes that it's better of as a friendship, even though he still has feelings for this person and he will probably always have them. White Ferrari, talks about the purity of both of their hearts and what the other person feels like in this world, while Frank tries to make her/him see the light/life just around the bend. Him comforting his lover by saying that life is more than they see, there are places to go, vacations to take and then the song goes back to the present reality that they both live in, primal and naked, as long as they are together, but also again, free to roam. And then just ends on a silent sound, roaming through your headphones as you slowly get back to the reality YOU, the listener, live in. Well... these are my thoughts, primal and naked :))) no filters. Maybe i took this edit of these 2 songs too deep, I don't know, but i felt like the whole song was written by a higher me, i could relate to every part of it. If anyone reads this, I would like to hear your vision or anything you thought out about the songs.
