The loml passed away our oldest daughter was 5 and our youngest daughter was 1! I would sit on his lap on the enclosed porch watching the sun go down. The tears in his eyes and the fact that he knew he would pass any day😢 I would just hold him…. Our 5 year old didn’t understand until the day of the funeral. When she saw him in the casket she then understood she would never see him again! She alarmed the whole funeral she screamed so bad the preacher had to stop. Nobody could calm her. It hurt so bad. At the burial she bit and scratched me and Repeatedly asked why they were putting him in the ground she pulled away from me to get to him. To see my daughter that way made it sooo much worse. I couldn’t console her😔 she will be 14 in October…and every time her father is talked about she breaks down the same way. My other daughter is now 10 . He was even more hurt because she was only one and he knew she wouldn’t remember him. I talk about him all the time and show her pictures of them together when he was here! This song hits so hard , after all these years it still feels like it happened yesterday. I told him to wait for me, and that I’ll meet him on the other side💔

So many people have heard this song from so many different shows/movies! I first heard it in "When They See Us", a limited series on Netflix! Honestly, very powerful in context to the series

@@fede.asanelezz ya this series just made me a serious misanthrope. The fact that oher Black prisoners and cops saw these young children as just 'fresh meat' to r*pe and attack made me question my life...

I love this song. It also played on Doom Patrol, a man is in love with someone. He gets in a horrible supernatural accident that disfigures him but also makes him immortal. He finds his lover like 60 years later when they are on their death bed. He gets just enough time to say goodbye after carrying them like a baby to the porch, where they quietly pass away. It flashes back to them holding hands as they separate and go opposite ways. He has tears running down his face. This song is playing throughout all of this. For some people Doom Patrol is love it or hate it, but this scene will make your eyes water. It gets me every time. Song is played perfectly here.❤
