Frank's so into it. He explains it like Yoda's a real person. He's so beautiful. Respect!!

Frank Oz is so underrated. From Yoda to Grover and Miss Piggy he truly understands how to create a character you can love. Fun fact he also directed "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, " which in itself is a gem. You can never go wrong with Michael Caine and Steve Martin:)

And no one can ever forget his chemistry with the late, great Jim Henson.

@@EmilyKresl And each other's personalities. Jim was usually the playful troll compared to Frank's straight man.

Even if it doesn’t seem to fit with any continuity, I’ll happily accept frank Oz’s interpretation of “Yoda talk” as head canon! It hints of a era of Jedi era That I don’t think has ever quite been shown but is interesting to imagine. A time of conversing in riddles and bemusing philosophy spoken around non Jedi peers to invoke more space wizard vibes than usual. Makes me think of the mystics from dark crystal.

I naturally speak like Yoda everyday, but not in English, I speak like Yoda in Japanese because in Japan, the verb most often comes at the end of the sentence also. Tomorrow to the Bank I will go.

As Jedi were fashioned after samurai/monks in many respects, it makes even more sense, methink.

I like the thought he put into that character development. :-) My room mate, on the other hand, thought what would be far more realistic is if Yoda talked normal for episodes I and II , only to suffer a change in speech pattern due to head trauma as a result of such a great fall which ended the fight with Palpatine. XD

Do the voice
@tysargent96472 жыл бұрын
I hear Frank always refuses requests to do the voices of his characters; he equates it to a parlor trick, and besides, there's more to a Muppet than merely their voice, it's also the personality and skill of the puppeteer.

That was a dope way to look at it.
