My grandparents took me in their home when I was 4 and I lived with them most of my life. When no one else could put up with me they were always there to welcome me back in their home. Those were the happiest days of my life. This song reminds me of my grandfather. I remember when I was around 17 and we were driving somewhere he had this song playing and of course I just wanted to hear my own music.I thought this song was sad and it made me glad I was young but life goes by fast and now I'm in that Autumn year and I feel so lonely because my grandparents died years ago and now all I want to do is go back to that time when I listened to this song for the first time, just me and my grandfather. I love you grandpop.

What a beautiful memory. You can always treasure it. We are all heading to the autumn, friend. Live as much as you can. That’s what your grandparents would like ❤️

Yes it is! and because of my memory that comes with it, I feel like it's a beautiful yet bitter sweet kind of song, if you know what I mean... Glad you like it!

I try to explain to my kids. There actually were times like this, in the old America. They have technology, but no clue how easier life was, at least for me.

This song from Frank Sinatra has been added to 3️⃣ separate playlists that I made on Spotify and iTunes which are 1️⃣. "Quick travel songs", 2️⃣. "Autumn songs" and 3️⃣. "Old school melodies 2." 👍🏻 if you're experiencing plenty of nostalgia from artists that you grew up with in the past.

Oh, no still listening and learning. "From the brim to the dregs..." I work with a younger, more self absorbed super star named Andre. He prefers to be called Dre, I grant him another consonant , call him Dreg, and he's clueless. And they say that there's no fun in mid-life.

to me this is one of those songs that sounds like it's being made up as it goes along, I have no clue how he could remember it to sing it again the same way. I cant believe anyone likes it.
