He said to the keyboard player 'Do you still work with Arkwright in the shop' which is a reference to the Ronnie Barker show 'Open All Hours' in which David Jason's charactor Granville worked in the shop and dressed in a similar manner to the keyboard player.

Frank is an entertaining genius of today very quick with come backs from hecklers a good all rounder George did his bit and he was also brilliant doing all his entertaining overseas for our troops in the second World War

You may have your thoughts on Frank Skinner to which you are entitled. However, he was a really nice guy in the flesh and spent time when he was not working on the programme, as did his crew watching the performances and talking to people. Also he is a genuine George Formby fan which is why he wanted to make the programme rather than a programme looking for a presenter.

I did for a fraction of a second see myself - but it was only because I knew where I was sat and what I was wearing. Certainly not as clear as some of the others. I was also in the lesson session but as I was to the right of the room near the rear the main camera was looking over my shoulder.

Yes shame about the skaky camera but at least you have a recording of it 'raw', as it were.

Frank conceals alot of brains and wit - he had done alot for the image of Birmingham, He is sincere in his respect for George Formby. I am sincere in my respect for Mr Skinner - a few less anal sex jokes would be nice too.
@michaelgarfield98457 жыл бұрын
I fail to see how he's done a lot for the image of Birmingham. He was born in West Bromwich, not Birmingham.

One of the worst so called comedians is Frank Skinner.I am a George Formby fan and i think was the worst choice to have done this program.
