My discovery of Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls is nothing short of magical. 1 week before he played a show in my city (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada) I was playing golf with some friends and we were playing Gaslight Anthem on a speaker. A guy in our group said “are you going to Frank Turner next week?” Myself and fellow Gaslight fan friend asked who Frank Turner was. The guy in our group says “if you love Brian Fallon/Gaslight (and we do), you’ll love Frank Turner”... 2 days later I’m at my desk at work and I look up Frank Turner on youtube.. I choose this video.... by the end of 3 simple words, I was texting my friends setting up ticket orders for the show. That was my first of 3 FT shows he’s played in Winnipeg. Can’t wait for him to come back!

I saw Frank in Dallas. It was my daughter's 18th birthday gift. She and I were front and center and it was the most amazing show I've ever seen. The album is a work of art and so much better than 99% of the drivel out there. Keep on Rockin' Frank!!!!

I didn't find out until the day after this gig, but my Granddad passed away just as I was going into the venue... Makes this even more poignant. Incredible gig, the atmosphere was amazing knowing that I was in the company of thousand or so other people who love Frank almost as much as I do :) Unforgettable night in so many ways.
