I hate to admit it but Gareth is right. I spent years hating on Frank Warren and calling him a small hall promoter but he changed the game in Saudi and just embarrassed my Eddie in front of the whole world. I don't know how I'll ever recover from this but my life is meaningless anyway 🙁

Of course Gareth is going to defend the Saudi shows in all aspects as he's being given free flights, hotels, a nice trip away in the sun on a regular basis etc. Froch doesn't need to be there to gauge the atmosphere when the event is being filmed and shown live on TV. The Saudi involvement has been brilliant in terms of the fights we're now getting but let's not pretend that a tiny "stadium" mostly filled with stern looking teetotal Arabs who at their most animated just clap the result is anywhere the same as 90,000 at Wembley with alcohol involved

What a load of old pony. I don't need to drink to enjoy boxing or anything for that matter . It's early days in suadi they have just begun this journey. Just because a few people hi up like boxing doesn't mean the rest of country do it takes time to grow. Wwe have been going there for a good few years and it had grown and they get big crowds with loads of noise from the clips I've seen and what ive been told by people who have watched it. Not my cuppa tea but just an example of what will happen given time

I think the atmosphere saga is made worse by the view you get on tv when you watch it is there's rows of Saudi rich people sitting with their arms crossed? . So all we don't see the fans at the back like we would in any venue in uk . There would be animated fans ringside all the way to the back which on tv looks like it's a lively atmosphere

No way on this earth was there 10,000 fans watching that fight. Every time the fighters went to their corner , CAMERAS panned around the stadium . CAMERAS told a different story . CAMERAS showed there to be , what , 2-3 hundred watching. There were empty seats everywhere .

The British boxing fans are the best and loudest in the world and they ain't gonna go over to Saudi 2 or 3 times a year they'll only go over for the likes of Fury vs Usyk or Fury vs AJ so I'm not expecting any good atmospheres unless Fury or AJ are main eventing who bring a large following over..........
