Frank Warren may be dominating boxing right now like he has done so often in the past, but Eddie Hearn has already cemented his legacy as the GOAT of boxing promoters by making Anthony Joshua the wealthiest British athlete of all time, and for that reason alone Eddie will always be remembered as the greatest. What makes Eddie's achievement so exceptional is the fact that Joshua isn't even close to the top 100 most talented or successful British athletes of all time. The problem with AJ is that he has a massively disproportionate ego. Don't get me wrong, outside the the ring Joshua is arguably the No.1 phenomenon in sporting history. But as a brand and a business he is punching far above his weight, because in terms of athletic and boxing ability he's nowhere near as special as the numbers suggest. Having said all that however, I do believe that with Shane McGwigan in his corner, constantly keeping his ego in check, Joshua could potentially redeem himself, and live up to the hype by becoming a 3 time, and perhaps even undisputed champ. It's no secret though that at McGwigan's gym, you have to leave your ego at the door. Shane is definitely not a 'yes man,' and that's part of the reason why so many boxers have left his stable in the past, but it's also a major component in his success A lot of fighters thrive with an entourage of 'yes men' around them. It gives them that special feeling. That little ego-boost to get them over the line. But it only works if you're winning, otherwise it's a charade. And Joshua has been ridden like a gravytrain all the way to the end of the line. Anthony Joshua, it's time to practice what you preach. It's time to park that ego at the door of McGwigan's gym. It time to find out what it really means to "stay humble"

AJ is just collecting bag after bag and has no incentive to learn the craft. He will go on to an even bigger bag in his next fight. Boxing, like the rest of the world has turned on it’s head. It’s the world of opposites. Everything we thought we knew about the world, the opposite is now true. Bad boxers are earning even more money than ever. The more they lose the more they earn. In the past the opposite was true. You had to be the best to even earn a living.

He has no defence for that. He's had too many easy fights he's now having to deal with things on the job at the very top. The true AJ is then seen. Yes he's brave and he can bang but he can't dog it out and have a fight when it's needed. If it's not gone to the text book style then he's scrambling. This never happened in the majority as the opponent was already beat before the bell. Now there's a live dog with the hunger he's loses every time. Because he is and athlete who was coached to fight. Not a fighter who learnt to box
