That's not exactly true. He had an eye for seeing potential. He helped a lot of them see that potential, and even convinced a few of them to achieve that potential without him. He was like Miles Davis in the sense that he had an eye and ear for talent. Most of his underlings didn't reach the top of their game until after parting ways. MTU Michigan Tech U... The 'Huskies' ... St Alphonso's was a Church that had a pancake breakfast during the show time across the bridge in Hancock. Supposedly thats where it all started. Wow I'm from the future here it is the year 2525 already, Alaska is now floating around amok in the south Pacific with a great big majestic mountain smack dab in the middle rising up to the universe with killer bud sprouting up everywhere you dare tread, I picked a purple bud twisted it up and was immediately on a tour bus on Mars (the buses are always on time on Lars uh uh Mars)💫💫🍻✌️💨oh this song was on the hole time made the hole Trip a astronomical experience 🌞too be cherished forever and ever ☀️🤘🎉👩🚀❄️

First time listening to Frank Zappa it was in the middle of the winter on Christmas break in Wisconsin. Out with friends smoking and somebody put this on. It's almost 40 years later and still remember listening to Zappa that first time. Incredibly different awesome lyrical journey only Frank can take you on. Circular motion now,"RUB IT!" Great guggaleemuggalee.

I was turned on to this at age 13, in '82. Was a favorite when smoking weed. I still think of Trudging across the tundra whenever walking in a snow storm.

Frank zappa was extremely Anti Drug and anti pot, even firing a guitarist for smoking pot before a show. Yet they created some of the best, trippiest music to listen too while tripping. 😀

The 70's was the only decade progressive enough to embrace the genius that was Mr Frank Zappa. Listened on vinyl in the 70's and now on KZbin in 2021. Crazy how things have changed🤯 LONG LIVE ROCK AND ROLL..... LONG LIVE OLD ROCKERS 🎸 R.I.P. Frank

My favorite holiday memory, baking snowball cookies with my daughter when she asks, "Can we add yellow food coloring?" When asked why, she broke into the chorus, "Watch out where the huskies, and don't you eat that yellow snow!" .. That's my girl! 😁👍

1974, just 14 years old and don't remember right how this album came to my hands and soon after the Overnight Sensation would go the same way, life and my perception of many things changed on a subtle way, his music and his persona walked with me until now...... Proud and grateful to be part of that generation growing up with such a talent people
