It fills my heart with true happiness to think that so many young musicians get it. Humour does belong in music and the fact that so many are prepared to master such complex pieces of music for there pleasure and ours can only be a great thing. I've no doubt himself would be so proud.

Frank's music is the pinnacle of the _School of Rock_ program, The music all of the best players aspire to be able to play. I'm dead serious, it's been that way since it was founded. If you get a chance, look at my channel for two full Frank Zappa shows from the Chicago and Oak Park School of Rock locations. Both feature the very best kids from those two places, most of whom were also all stars, the very best from the whole program. And if you get a chance, search for the documentary Rock School (not to be confused with the Jack Black fiction movie School of Rock). In it, the founder of the School of Rock program, takes a group of kids to Bad Doberon Germany to play the Zappanale Festival and receive a standing ovation led by Napoleon Murphy Brock.

Would you believe that most of these young people hadn't met three days before the tour? They learned the parts on their own, met up and rehearsed a two hour program of music for two and a half days, then went on tour. The young woman with the black Strat is Tori Hall, a five time AllStar on her final tour with them.
