I usually look for hours trying to find new or old music that isn't exactly famous or popular that's badass. I'm not saying this guy falls into the "not popular" category, just saying i havent heard it but, I find that alot of bands and musicians were just waaaay before their time. Or didnt have the right label to get their music out. Was just getting started and found this, thought the video was cool. I like punk and I like "alternative" sounding music, so this dude has alot to listen to! Glad I found them. It's a nice new song to get stuck on and some cool, well thought videos. Dudes a badass!

The difference between the debut album to this is staggering, went from a Heavy. Heavy hardcore punk to an arctic monkeys/royal blood sound I don't hate it, but to say I'm a huge fan of this would be an overstatement. If you don't wanna do the heavy stuff anymore. I get it. But it is a shame there is no new songs with that sound anymore.

I was at the Snakepit-only acoustic set/Q&A in Brighton in early october and one of the questions was pretty much around your comment and frank said the album was a progression from End of Suffering (rather than Sticky), and also had some old-style hardcore bangers on it too. I can see why they would choose to release the more melodic songs as singles tbh.

I get why people are a bit unsatisfied with that single. It's a bit out of the scope we're used to hear with Frank. But I think people grow, change, get old, wiser... You can't blame an artist for putting out music that doesn't sound like what they were doing 10 years earlier. The same way we listeners shouldn't sacrifice our curiousity for a chosen musical identity. Plus that's just a single. Let's see what the album brings. Artistry requires experimentation. Or we'll all get bored. All those songs are different flavors and expressions of the same soul on their life trip. Let's savor it.
