Un dato curioso es que el doblaje al inglés tuvo mucha gente involucrada que hace doblaje al español latino...como sería Leisha Medina (actriz y cantante de doblaje venezolano) quien fue la responsable de haber sido la traductora como adaptadora de los temas del español al inglés , y la actriz de doblaje quien interpretó tanto en diálogo como en canciones a esta de frankela en el doblaje al inglés fue esta de Andrea Villaverde (actriz de doblaje en Miami) quien es la voz de Ochako Uraraka en el doblaje de la serie de My hero academia en español latino

So far I’ve heard three versions of this song, English, Spanish and Portuguese. I think they are all beautiful in their own way, I can’t stop listening to each of them! English: In this video, Frankelda sings this to herself to relax while Herneval (I’m not sure if that’s his name) also sings alongside her to prepare her for her soul to be taken out of her body. Although it’s not the greatest version and won’t beat the original, it has its certain charm to it. Makes the song kind of alive and relaxing, something a parent with no singing abilities would sing to a child to calm them down. This version reflects that kind of feeling in this situation. Spanish: In the original Spanish version Frankelda sings this song in such a mysterious and passionate way that just like Herneval, we want to sing alongside her, it literally gets stuck in your head, it just gives you such chills. Imagine hearing this song out of nowhere in some kind of dark area, withs its echoing effect it sounds mysterious and frightening but at the same time, it is sang so softly and with passion you can’t help but be mesmerised by it, you can’t help but you look for the very source of the song. This version really reflects on Frankelda as an author and what her stories that are both frightening but thrilling at the same time and how with such passion she creates them. Portuguese: In the Portuguese version, Frankelda made a poem for Herneval in which he suggests to read it for her to relax. I think she sings it with such a fondness it reflects her feelings for Herneval. This version gives a bit of a personality to the characters voices. With it’s extra “ahhh’s” and “hmmm’s” it already gives us a hint of their personalities, Frankelda makes little noises when she thinks or exclaims, showing us that she is a very creative and expressive character which fits her as an author. Herneval, we don’t know much about his character yet but when I first saw the clip of him, I was worried he was some kind of a sketchy character who wants to use Frankelda. Thankfully, in the Portuguese version he sounds rather charismatic and affectionate. He doesn’t make much exclaiming noise like Frankelda does which makes him seem like a sensible and charismatic person. He speaks with such fondness towards Frankelda which definitely threw my first impression out the window. When they both sing it, in this scene it sounds more romantic as they sing to one another. This one definitely reflects the romantic chemistry between the characters than the other versions show. Needles to say, I would say the Portuguese is my favourite out of the three as obviously as I explained 😅 sadly I have not been able to see the show myself as it looks GORGEOUS. If anyone knows where I can watch it (I am aware that it is on HBO Max but it we do not have it where I live) or if it might be released in other countries (preferably UK, Scotland). I would really appreciate it if anyone could give me some info. Thank you for reading and I can’t wait to finally see it!

@@ctochtli2964 Hey sorry for late reply, (POSSIBLE SPOILER) Actually, apparently this isn’t their first encounter. I haven’t seen the show but from what I gathered is that they met as young kids and Herneval (the owl guy) always watched over Frankelda growing up and read her stories in secret. That’s why he is so fixated on her. So it makes the song not only haunting and beautiful but also romantic as the song was a poem Frankelda made for Herneval.
