The barrel hive is better than the box hive, especially since the frames are easy to disassemble and the honey does not stick to them

That is an excellent question. I don’t have enough time with a cathedral have yet to say, but I think I like the layens overall. This was my first successful flow hive year and it was rather convenient although I feel like I have less control over some aspects, as the frames are rather large, and may not be fully capped at harvest, making for a wet honey
