Man oh man! This theme is hand in hand with Bride(1935), Star Wars, 7th Voyage Of Sinbad, Raiders & Williams' Dracula theme from the '79 version as the top film scores that pass through my head at least once daily since I was a wee little tot. Just some of the finest, and most memorable, cinematic music of all time!

People are obsessed with colourising old movies I'd be more interested in someone actually doing a full soundtrack for Frankenstein. Danny Elfman or Fernando Velázquez I feel would do something that would work.

You are right! Have you had a chance to watch Dracula (1931) with a score composed for the film by Philip Glass? It’s wonderful.

It’s been done. Composer Michael Shapiro made a full soundtrack for the movie back in 2001

The opening credits music was specifically written for this movie by Kaun. The music over the closing titles was "Grand Appasionato" a published piece written by Giuseppe Becce for use in silent films.
