The first matrix is literally one of the best action and sci-fi movies ever made imo. The second two aren’t quite as good, but collectively as a trilogy are verrry strong. For me as a series it’s up there with things like the Star Wars trilogy and such.

People always rag on Adam and Stav, and don't get me wrong, they are right to. But i still think the show was better for them being on it. If they were actually good, they'd be stepping on Nick's toes. They're a quite frankly perfect supporting cast. Stav for being an enthusiastic laugher, and Adam for being a great punching bag. Also i never see people say this, but adam being such a wussy effete dweeby liberal type is actually incredibly important for the vibes of the show IMO - somehow having his snowflakey presence makes the very-close-to-edge outrageousness feel somehow a lot less...well, edgy. It's part of what makes, e.g, nick doing pretty shocking funny African man voices, feel more like absurdist outsider art, rather than alt right edginess. The content is on the surface a lot closer to Sam Hyde than Tim and Eric, yet the vibes feel a lot more like the latter. I like stories.
