I was just saying to my mom yesterday, Mr. Ballen tells about all these people who go up on a roof alone, no one knows they're there, and they die and it takes days, months, or even years to figure out what happened to these people. Don't be like them. Tell someone exactly where you're going to be so they can find you! Or, better yet, take someone along as a spotter on the ground for you to check in with every now and then. Be safe, and be smart about it.

I work at a department store loading dock, unloading merch. A dozen times a day, I fill the trash compactor with cardboard boxes. We leave the door of the compactor open so anyone can come by and use it, but sometimes when I use it and have to lean in to shove some boxes further down, I hear Mr. Ballen saying: "Josh knew it wasn't really safe, but it was part-time and he just wanted to go home."

I was an asphalt mixer man , used to have a half ton pot as well, it’s blow up point is about 350 same as the mixer, I’ve heard stories of people running a 3 ton mixer in the middle of the summer, adjusters going round , you need to think about it, that’s why I’m still alive
