It looks really cool like that. Would be cool if you could get the tires going at the same speed. Some kind of hybrid on the trails. I wonder how well water wheelies would work with that sort of setup. Haha Cheers!

I was tempted to do that, the first time I took my tracks off, looks fun maybe next time, so what exactly is a tiger tail, In the video it looks kinda like a rear winch? I bought one of those quadrax rear receiver hitch mount winches, works good, but too low and sticks out too far, guess I'll have to custom fab a mount. any how thanks for the vid osta

Is the ratio on the track different than the tire? Could not tell, but it should be with the small drive wheel in the track.
@TexasRedneck9 жыл бұрын
Dogma4590 he says in the beginning that the ratios are different, that the front wheels would be turning much faster.

Hey Osta. Been looking the new outlander over and notice the rear end is pretty exposed. Right under the difference are the 2 square tubes of the frame. Feel that might be an issue if I bump a rock. What guards are you using or do you recommend.??
@ostacruiser9 жыл бұрын
Corey Slute I haven';t had a single issue with the frame on the gen 2's, I have owned 4 of them now, they make skid plates if you are going to be running alot of rocks
@coreyslute69179 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for the reply. Don't run a lot of rocks but always weary of that sneaky one in a deep hole. I'll take your word for it man. Cheers!!

+ostacruiser Hey, I just found your channel out of curiosity. It's amazing, the machines shown are incredible. If I may ask, how much was your machine after all the modifications, and what brand/model is it? I've seen all makes and models in the video, however my personal favorite brand is Polaris. One more thing, do you think a regular stock ATV can do the kind of things you do in your videos, or do you have these modifications done so you can do it?
@Churm719 жыл бұрын
The model in the video is a Can-Am Outlander XMR 1000cc and I think it has a catvos lift kit on it
@Y2daT4209 жыл бұрын
+Slimjimtheman98 you will have to do a proper snorkel to any quad to make it able to go as far under as they do with out damaging it ... by proper i mean the air intake + all the differential and motor case vent lines ran to the snorkel ... it is also a good idea to protect the electrical connections with di electric grease to prevent them from corroding over time . and the battery needs to be a sealed type . most of the other mods are for lift and power .... relocating the radiator to the top of the quad keeps it from getting stopped up with mud and letting the motor overheat
@dfw_fpis76559 жыл бұрын
Y2daT420 Thanks for the great advice, I appreciate it. The first step for me though is getting an ATV, lol.

I cringed when you put it in 4wd, expecting something to torque up like a t-case or something...these must not be setup that way? I figured it would be like running two diff size tires on your posi axle on your pick up! But it seems to be fine. Nice machine!
@ostacruiser9 жыл бұрын
