Frankfurt and Munich airports are 2 of the busiest airports in Europe, but they are soo well organized, almost never experiencing delays there despite the traffic!

I used to go to the international airport in Costa Rica just to watch the planes come and go and that was when I was a teen, but I guess I m still amazed at those magnificient aircraft and how exciting watching so many so different in this video, I just stand amazed quite as much as when as a teen !!!

Very nice. Thanks for putting in the work. I grew up here, so the sights are great. Also, getting different vantage points keeps one's interest. I have flown in and out of here hundreds of times... it never gets old. I specially like the misty days...

I was wondering the same when visited Frankfurt airport, airplanes actually DO taxi very fast, they work at full capacity everytime so it's a sign of how good organized the airport is and works like a fast accurate system.

Awesome compilation video..I went thru the entire clip, so enthralled, I had to spot each airc registration I could - not sure if you intended to get those not but about 97% are legible- and discovered some interesting ships, like the Air Transats A330 and A310 a newly leased airc to the fleet. Lots of good stuff! Thanks for the great effort.

Hello Jeffrey. I lived just outside of the airport in a town called Neu-Isenburg. Most of the incoming aircraft flew their approach over my apartment. I used to crawl outside my widow, and I had privacy and I used to record all the aircraft coming in to Frankfurt Airport. We timed most of the seconds between each one landing and there were times it was 45 seconds or less between aircraft. From my vantage I couldn't tel how many runways were for landing. Your recordings seem to come from RMAB.

Jeffrey, thanks for taking all the time to film this, with what sounds like your children in the background...great dad! Were you in the parking towers to film. Love to see them coming in at sunset, that is my favorite. Will you please do the tagging of each type of aircraft in the bottom of the screen as they descend? Why did that small plane have four motors where the big 747's don't. Why did that one plane have the engine on the tail and no engines on the wings?
@cabbepe12 жыл бұрын
It's well and steady. I would have stayed on 5 - 10 sec longer in the end of each sequence to get the brake/reverse moment better, and gears up on takeoff. But maybe the traffic was to heavy to manage that. It's not meant as a complaint though. Your a very good camaraman.

Hi Jeffrey, thanks first to that brilliant film. Just Planes, no view disturbing comments etc. Really nice!! Maybe you can answer me my question, on all Lufthanser passenger planes I see at least one bulgelike fin antenna whatever on top of the plane. What is it for?

7:02 The bulge there is to level the floor as an extension of the body (instead of making the nose landing gear strut longer) so that the entire aircraft is leveled. It would be difficult to load containers into the aircraft if they have to push the cargo "upwards" towards the tail.
@SWApilot9412 жыл бұрын
They're called Satellite Communications antennas or SATCOM antennas. I've honestly never done research on them, but i'm sure the name says it all.

If you have almost 4km of asphalt available, why not use it? Saves the engines, no need for full takeoff thrust so they almost certainly use a derated or flex temp takeoff thrust if conditions allow it.
