i will not be ashamed to say this; being in my 70's and having lived through the birth of the rock/pop song era into its zenith in the '60's and '70's, "Venus" by Frankie Avalon is my #1 most favorite of them all. The words, melody and Frankie's voice all culminate into a plethora of memories of the late 1950's in my mind! What a glorious time and era from the late '50's to the early '60's we had back then. I sure do miss them!

A dreamy teenager's song and the video is very good. I like the way he moves singing around the manequins dreaming about having a girl which is what we do when we fell the desire of a girl's company and have none.
