In communist Poland in the 1980s it was a hit on the state radio. Nobody understood the lyrics, but everyone liked the music very much.

And the video was released many times on public TV by Krzysztof Szewczyk (in the 80s), the program was called Videoteka or Jarmark (I don't remember exactly). I was more a bit than 10 years old and I loved it! :). Probably I also did not understand the sense but the song was great! ... from these years and this program I also remember Shakin Stevens, Limahl, Duran Duran, Wham, GM, Elton John....hehe.... eh those beutiful young times!....;)

Ah, the 80s. The best decade of my life. The music, the cars, the fashions, what a total letdown the 90s were, but then, the 80s would have been a tough act to follow under any circumstances. Sure, Miami Vice was over the top, no one I knew really lived like that, but we sure tried. I can hear MV music today and I feel the warm south Florida air, smell the ocean...it is as if I am transorted back there, all those years ago. It makes me feel good.

In this instance it is probably better to listen than to watch a classic.

One of the most uplifting and most upbeat songs ever written. We loved the 80s music and this was at the top of that list. We had a friend that when he pulled up we knew it was his car around the corner, blasting this song every time. Relax is absolutely timeless and ageless 80s hit, which was made, remade and played in numerous places. Loved it through time since the day we first heard it and still one of the most favorite top songs on my list.

I just can't help but be drawn into this absolutely awesome tune.....I am really sorry for the youth of today....it is a crying shame that you just don't have awesome tunes like this in the charts today!!!...perhaps you can build a time machine....and return to the greatest era....the 80's!!!
