Glad to see the Talon back! I absolutely love mine. Have 3 buddies that have them and for the most part they are great for where we ride in the midwest. Will never win a drag race against an X3 but we get to pull them out of the woods with broken belts regularly. :)

Do pistons!! Get ahold of Chad at Dr. Powersports for custom 10.5 turbo pistons. You can do them in the car without pulling the engine in less than 30 minutes from where you are. Also get a hold of Erik at PPEI for tuning, fuel system, and map sensor and you will absolutely love it!!

FYI Hess doesn't do their own work, its farmed out Get Greg Bell to do the head PPEI to do the tuning, fuel and itll scream Hang an oil cooler on it and itll help alot

Idk if the new Honda stuff has the stamina but iv personally put several 80-95s through hell and back, some without oil in them and they never let me down. Honda's have always been extremely reliable. Had some ignition problems early on but rotating assembly, fkn mint👌

We’ve run wheel spacers plenty of times with no issues, just make sure you buy good quality ones with 12mm studs

You can have compression in the other cylinder and none in the damaged cylinder. Likely a broken piston or broke valve. Might as well do some PM and some performance parts.

Have been following the build for awhile, was wondering if the motor would hold together like a true turbo motor, does not sound promising. In the end if you want a turbo machine, buy one with forged components setup with the right base compression. Sounds like a lessons learned from messing with turbo cars over the years:).

Oh, sheared the center spring pin/bolt. I hear hammers bangin' tryin' to get the leafs lined back up for the new center-spring bolt/pin. No biggy. It'll be aight 'bout 4 o'clock.
