Everything seemed to be fine until my business went down because of new tort reform laws that were passed. That’s why I had to move to a different state and then applied for a courthouse job so I got salary and money for transcripts. I didn’t understand why he was crying in the attorney’s office when we were signing the final divorce papers. It caught me off guard because I was laughing at a song that was playing over the speakers in the office and then I looked at him and he was crying.
