Never knew those sleds were pulled so fast.

That’s just the light pro tractors too, you should see the big pro stock tractors pull it!!! They average about 35 mph!!

@@burtbrooks7731 that is just amazing. .....half the time I get stuck in the soft grass in my yard.....Let alone with a load like that. Nothing pulls like the American Spirit!

I know this will sound like a stupid question to a lot of you but I just never worked on , owned , educated myself on Diesel engines. More so these tractors that sit and puff, puff, puff before it lets loose and throws coal 20ft in the air. What is happening before it takes off? Is it a lot slower to bring the revs up ? Why do some take longer than others?

So they have to bring the RPMs up to 3000. All the while, they are injecting water which makes the color of the smoke change. It isn't just a ton of unburnt fuel. They are building heat and pressure, and the more they do the more boost. Then they have to ease off the clutch whereas not to buzz the tires.

This is one of the best set up for a pull I’ve ever seen . Now if you can get the film crew to get better pictures of the end of the pull and post the pulling distance of each pull with the finished order , it might be perfect !

Thanks Steven. It's was jus me and a young buck at the end working my other gopro and he cut off the end shots a lil early so I couldn't use much of his footage but it was his first time filming. And your right I'd like to have a mic on the announcer also.

@@gressfmx Hey, it’s still a fine video with some of the best pictures of the tractors coming in and hooking up to the sled that I have seen ! Beautiful color. Just keep it up. God Bless my friend .

I think he did a fine job, 46M pulling views chatting here. He can easily do cameras and film. But that setup can run upwards of $7k depending on the brands he chooses. Are you sponsoring the man? You have no clue how much time it is to edit this. I tell people it is about 4 hours for each hour filmed.

@@WWPTV thanks. It is very time consuming and I wish I hard more time to put my heart into it like you but I also race motocross and do towing and recovery which I try to film but at times it's just to much trying to make sure all the batteries are charged get the cameras set you know the deal. This video was to help darren get the word out on the new sled and help a friend out. Thanks for your support as well I know how much you put into the sport and you do a great job at it.

@@gressfmx Awesome. I run three 5s and three 4s. 8s are costly at the moment. They are coming down though. Good choice.
