The thing is actually supposed to be the representation of Nicky's trauma, Not theodore's since we only see the thing through Nicky's eyes, and that it is supposed to be a representation of fear and trauma, rather than actually being a person or something

It could actually be both a person and a representation of traumas. As the Guest is the living incarnation of bad luck the Thing can be the living incarnation of Fears and traumas I think it was said something similar in the neighbor notebook and was never retconnected

That was true in the original game, and the animated series can't be in the same timeline as the first game, so it can be different on this new timeline

Nikita confirmed that the guest was never supernatural, so there are higher chances of the guest being a man in a crow costume.

i think that the Mya survived theory could be true since in one of the trailers for hide and seek we see a falling dool that represents Mya and at the end we see a crow catching the dool wich could represent the guest

I have a theory about Mr.Petersons brother, and after he went into that hole and the purple lights, actually split him into two things one being a more ruder/meaner Franklin but still a normal Franklin therefore why in that painting of them they look angry at each other and also turned into that shadow thing who tries to protect Theo Peterson because that is what he was doing before he fell into that hole but no one can see this shadow thing unless it’s trying to protect Theo Peterson there for Nicky being able to see it because Nicky was hurting Mr.Peterson by trying to break into his house and basement you know but I don’t know why the others can’t see him. Quite possibly because they may see him at the endish bit of season two and defeat it and the guest. Sorry for making it so long but do what you want with this I just Like your videos 😊

my theory is that the forest protecters are very old and were experimenting in the weather station, which caused the beam of light, killing theo's brother, but not actually killing him, just turning him deformed into a shadow like creature, or the thing. But in the accident his body was only made of electrical beams, so that's why he looks like this, and he put on a mask and cloak, and now lurks in the woods, without his mind, because he probably cannot think anymore, and kills anything that does not represent the raven-like creature that he has become. But he gives this coin to Trinity because the coin was cursed by none other than the neighbor himself by practicing WITH his brother, because the only reason he remembers is because he only lost half of his mind, and he probably is the one that knocked out Quentin at the end of hn2, because he can't have anyone trying to get his brother in jail, so that is the Trinity thing. so he also got rid of Aaron. But since Quentin tried to save Aaron, he had to do that. So he is the source of everything supernatural around the Petersons family, and theo tries to kill everyone from the people that killed his brother, or at least ruined him. ALSO the forest protecters worship him so they won't die because franklin doesn't know that it's their fault. PLEASE GIVE THIS ATTENTION I HAVE FINGER CRAMPS PLEASE.

I think Franklin is the Guest works better if Franklin is a host for the Guest Like why would Franklin suddenly turn against his brother if he was actually the Guest. But think about this, before the Mayak incident Guest didnt have a physical body, but with Franklin falling to the pit, He uses his body to manifest into the physical world. Franklin would just be the host And Franklin's body slowly decomposing over time would be spooky too, It would also explain why Guest looks like a costume

Franklin isn’t the guest because the guest is actually an ancient creature. But what could have happened was when the guest was banished and when Franklin fell down the hole, the guest took his body to have a full physical form because we know he can do that because the books were confirmed by Nikita to still be canon to the games. That’s what I think but he’s definitely not actually Franklin Peterson. Also about the books being canon in continuity still is because there’s a reason why there’s differences in the way events play out and there gonna reveal it in a way that’s nice and not super confusing.

I think Aaron is the guest but the only reason I think this is because the guest starting attacking after Aaron escaped. Also Aaron knows where the kids live so he can spy on them. But the guests voice is deep and I don’t think Arron would kill anyone.

5:36 My theory is that aaron is the thing is because nicky and aaron where good friends but in hide and seek aaron pushed maya down maybe mr.peterson's fear was to lose his familiy and got so sad and mad thats why mr.peterson locked aaron up because he didn't want to lose his familiy and in nicky's diaries you can see that nicky wants to know clues what happend to aaron and find old stuff with aaron because nicky and aaron where best friend but in hello neighbor animated sieres aaron is fearing nicky maybe trying to show he was his best friend aaron but nicky was traumatized at that point because the thing followed him

I think the forest protector base them self after a mythology creature and the only real forest protector like the guest maybe the guest is the mythology creature cuz he shapeshifts like many mythology creatures and the forest protectors based them self's after the mythical beast and the guest is real one that and forest protectors worship this mythological creature and the guest is that creature in the blood and the forest protector summoned him using the crows and ravens cuz if crows circle around then that means the bridge between spirit world and the mortal world and the guest used Franklin's body as a vessel so Franklin's is like moon knight there's a voice in his head which is the guest

I think that the shadow man is the guest because in hello neigbhor 1 (when nicky is in the basement) the shadow man produce and project light with is eyes, and in hello neigbhor 2 beta or alpha (i don’t remember) when we go out the map, the guest catch us and we can see the same light that the shadow man come out it’s beak.
