Best to experience all 3 endings, kill Michael, kill Trevor and death wish. Just do deathwish first and complete the game then replay the final mission twice to kill Michael and Trevor and don't save or overwrite a saved file.

It's been almost 6 years since I done it so can't remember the exact details apart from pushing the car off the cliff with a guy in the boot at his mansion.

That's why I said "do deathwish first" that way neither Micheal or Trevor get killed and you'll still have all 3 characters after the game ends.
