Audio amazing with the windy conditions. Wow, that old rocket bomb was cool. Didn’t know tarantulas tolerated the cold so well. Tortoise shell fragment a great find. Love that slot canyon. Mighty fine 360s from Owlhead BM. Last week from atop Telescope Peak I gazed over to Owlhead and thought all of those days you’ve spent exploring that area. A month of your life spent there is month well spent 👏 Any sailing stones on Lost Lake? Enjoyed the soundtrack.

Hey DV Dazed! Yes we did see some moving rocks. I showed one briefly in the video. But they are more abundant on another part of the lake, which we didn’t have time to visit this time.

Hey Steve , isn’t that sand at harywade awesome ? On my last trip I was amazed how different that section of the road was .

Agreed. We were shocked to see the sand drifts. Those are new.

Really beautiful, but man thats long hiles! Do you think it is smooth enough to take the e-bike inn and out?

@@hagentrondheim3675 if you mean e-biking to Steve’s truck park from where he commenced the hike then you might be okay but those roads around The Owlheads get quite sandy?

I wouldn’t suggest riding a bike to the trailhead. Owlshead Mountains Rd is really rough and isolated. Not a good spot to get stuck.
