The bassist Champignon was an amazing instrumentalist. Charlie Brown Jr. was formed in my native city of Santos, and they were really really big down there. When the singer Chorão died there was big demonstration in the city's main avenue accompanying his funeral.

Frank o nome desta banda é baseada no desenho do Snoop... Mas pra chegar nesse nome foi bem inusitado. A banda estava precisando de um nome pra colocar nas capas dos cds, e num dos passeios de carro a noite, eles bateram de carro numa barraquinha de lanches que tinha esse nome. rs As comparações são inevitaveis e de minha parte, vejo como elogio mesmo, pois, aqui no Brasil, a gente nã otem muito acesso a todas as musicas que aconteceram nos últimos 50 anos no mundo, logo, não conhecemos tantas referências.... Parabéns pela sua memória musical.... O nome artístico dele era "Chorão", e sim, o Winderson nunes se parece com ele sim em alguns aspectos físicos principalmente no rosto... Charlie Brown Jr. Era una band molto brava, purtroppo ha avuto una tragica fine. In sostanza, il cantante, Chorão, è stato sconfitto dalla cocaina, e il bassista Champignon si è sparato alla testa poco dopo, motivato dalla depressione, dai problemi finanziari e dalle aspre critiche dei fan della band che non hanno ammesso la continuità della band senza il Chorão.
