Pedro Aznar left in 1982 to study at Berklee and later he joined the Pat Metheny band for some time. There is a lot of tango in Charly García's music (even without him noticing it). Invisible, from 1974, is the first studio album by the Argentine rock band Invisible and the seventh in which Luis Alberto Spinetta has a decisive participation. The band, made up of Spinetta himself (vocals and guitar), Pomo Lorenzo (drums) and Machi Rufino (bass), had set out to make a sound different from that prevailing in national and international rock at the time, playing without distortion and looking for a clearer and more random soundkzbin.info/aero/PLhAovR9NcHA9MU-Q6n4Ff_g-wfZJa7f3d

Hello Frank, thanks for such a review, your comments help many of us to re-realize why this is one of the greatest albums in our whole lives. I just wanted to comment that the final notes of the album (in Canción de Hollywood) are from “On Broadway”, from the movie “All that Jazz”. Also, please consider that the bass player (Pedro Aznar) is now one of our greatest musicians (multi-instrumentist that played several years with Pat Metheny after Serú Girán), and also David Lebón in Guitar and Oscar Moro in drums were a big part of this band, our greatest of all times in my (and many others) opinion. Please, would you listen to the song “Desarma y sangra” from Serú’s album “Bicicleta”? That’s their third one. In that song, perhaps Charly combined Rock with Bach, which is not so easy. One of his greatest ones. Of course you’ll enjoy all the album. But that song is quite special. Charly uses to play it nowaday and the public explodes (and cries). The other keyboards and arrangement in that song are from Pedro Aznar also. Thanks!

Base is Pedro Aznar, one of the best argentine musicians. He also played along Pat Metheney... The other "superband" was Spinetta Jade... Eternal love to Luis Alberto Spinetta.

Actually, the song "Paranoia y Soledad" is sung by Pedro Aznar, the bassist. It was the first song composed by him to appear on one of the band's albums. The style of music that he liked and played was a little different from the rest of the band, but Charly insisted on including one of his compositions, and also asked him to play all the instruments, except for the drums. According to Pedro, the "vocabulary" of the song was in a different key, closer to jazz, and the band wanted it to sound authentic. He was also the vocalist in the Pat Metheny group during the mid 80s and early 90s :)
