Raimundos is a very good punk rock band. I listened to it a lot when I was 12 years old... I listened to it until I was 25 years old. Today I am 40 years old. The bass player was Canisso, he made the sound that for me most characterized the band... But, unfortunately, Canisso passed away last year.

Raimundos is influenced by ramones, but what makes them stand out the most is the mix of baião and rhythms from northeastern Brazil with rock, punk and nu metal. If you liked their heavy music you should listen to "Tora tora" and "Puteiro em João Pessoa". But if you like listening to something more punk or pop punk you should listen to "Mulher de fases" or "A mais pedida".

this music is from the 4th album from raimundos, they try something more heavy, the 1st and 2nd albuns are more Ramones feelings. In Special, the 1st album have more punk rock / Hardcore with influencies from a folk rythm called Forró, fom northeast of Brazil. this mix hardcore // Forró make the producers and labels opened eyes to Raimundos.
