Interesting comments about AJ, and also totally contradictory to what he said in an interview after AJ buckled Ngannou's chassis. Something to the tune of respect and AJ did what he had to do for the sport of boxing. I also vaguely recall him not being as confident that he could beat AJ. Look that interview up. I believe Hrgovic was in Miami at the time of interview just days after AJ v Ngannou. I could be recalling this inaccurately but it's definitely ringing a bell. Nothing against Hrgovic, I enjoy watching him and wouldn't mind the AJ v Hrgovic. If you wanna be the best you have to beat the best and everyone in between.

He’s right we all know that Dubois only game plan was to land about 20 low blows ‘whatever it takes’ and that was about it. Zero other game plan. Once Usyk had ran out of patience with his antics he put him down with a jab! He comes across as a guy who doesn’t really want to be in the sport but somehow has ended up where he is! A few hard punches from Hrgovic and he’ll be looking to his corner and dropping to the knee again. It’s like a reflex for him.

Apart from Zhang, what other top 20 fighter has Hrgovic faced? He's lamped gatekeepers like Molina, Mansour or the evergreen Kevin Johnson, but he hasn't faced the likes of Usyk, Miller or Joyce like Dubois.Against Hrgovic, Zhang was only beaten by his lack of stamina and gassed out, just like he did with Parker.Hrgovic is definitely good, but I wouldn't under estimate a resurgent puncher like Dubois.
