The thing that is so special about this set is Franky himself and how much his energy changes throughout the performance. This was his first HEADLINING set (afaik) and he starts it off pretty quietly, maybe even a little nervous? As he realizes how much the crowd LOVES what he's doing, he really comes out of his shell. This wasn't just the best set of the weekend, but also a really impressive performance from one of Anjuna's "new" artists who proved he's just as good as everybody else on this epic label. It's an absolutely incredible mix, and one that's sure to put Franky on everybody's radar.

Wouldn’t say it was a nervous start, he’s just building up the set I’d say, he’s so good at creating that atmospheric feel to kick the first 20 minutes or so off. So good! I’ve loved the first track for over 25 years, and Franky did it justice as far as a remix goes. Not replacing the vocal with someone else, adding his magic to it, it’s just perfect. I would’ve cried happy tears if I was there. 🥰💗👊

I think his better work has been with vocalists apart from the Sasha ones . Just needs a vocalist. See unreleased as yet "alive" , Robinson track and AETHO . Not as keen on the Carl Cox one , same with Pete Tongue remix of system F. Which adds little to the classic in my opinion. It's still brilliant but adds relatively little to the classic. As Alice Deejay said ...he's better off alone ....lol 🤣

I went to Dreamstate in California in November. I'm 47 and it was my first trance festival to attend. The amount of love, joy, happiness, etc blew my mind!
