This is actually a pretty good idea, and is something that has been done IRL. Most major countries have used their MBT's hull as a basis for multiple different vehicles. The Abrams, the Leopard, the T72/T80, Challenger 2, ZTZ, etc all these vehicles have got engineer variant's as well as artillery. Maybe you could make a Artillery Varient of this thing that has a Bertha Canon? (if the turret is not large enough try making the vehicle a casemate (i.e the gun is in the hull like the Jagdtiger)

You should build sliding stands so it doesn't fall over when you turn it with maximum length on the crane
