Continuing on with our Frantico Oil Career mode in Stormworks, we're going to be modifying our boat a little bit more by adding a water cannon for fire fighting. We're then going to be putting our lights and things on again as they were deleted. Then we'll go out to get some money!
Unfortunately on our way out to get some more money we ran into some issues. We got stuck in a cliff by accident! We also tipped out boat over which is a massive issue.

You should add some air inlets with a gas filter to the bridge cabin and the boat hull. That way the pressure is equalized inside the boat and water has an easier time flowing out of the boat again even when the hull is damaged. If you combine the air inlet with a bilge bump where you have a t-pipe on the outlet of the pump with one gas filter on one side dumping air back inside the boat and a fluid filter on the other t-pipe connection you can pump out water much faster and keep more air inside the boat. When it comes to the fuel pipe dragging the boat on land and destroying it, that's because the winches the refuel point has only extends up to 10 meters and you can drag them manually up to 40 meters. This causes the hose to rubber band and drag the boat hard onto land damaging it(done it myself). Still forgot to add ladders to the boat🤣,but great video as always O7.

Fuel tanks, custom or not need Vents to the air, Like a real life tank does, If you don't have a Gas vent it'll stop once its compressed the air to the point it can't be compressed anymore, 454SS Made a vid on it, I recommend also adding a valve, so it only vents with a button/When the engine is running, or you'll loose some fuel in the process

It's in your best interest to remove the control surfaces. They put out the propellers out of the water and make you waste fuel, as you already said

15:03 Lol, Dont hate the game when its your own fault. The hose in your hand can stretch, but it wants to retract to 10 meters since its a small winch. Winches basically have infinite power, but the elasticity of the rope is finicky. Just make sure you have enough rope length next time..

@@FranticMatty That is fair i suppose. But we all know the ropes are problematic, so its better to be on the safe side when using them. The devs have been reconfiguring how ropes behave lately, so its difficult to know for sure how something reacts when you are pushing the limits of the ropes.

⁠@@FranticMattyThis is why I install a large winch for all my fluid connections. Especially on tankers. Most winches allow for fluid to pass through so put a toggle button to winch out and turn it on before connecting the hose so it’ll start letting out as soon as you connect the hose up then turn off when the hose isn’t pulling the boat anymore.
