The company was founded over 100 years ago by Franz Hermle in Gosheim in Württemberg, Germany. Within ten years, the company became known as one of the most modern and efficient manufacturers of clock mechanisms in the clock industry.
The clock movement is a mechanical Hermle 141-070 with a half-hour strike - a high-quality, reliable movement that is popular with Howard Miller, Ridgeway, Bulova and many other clock manufacturers.
