Thanks for listening! No, Kotzwara isn't the performer (since he died a long time ago); I played the work.

After watching Alex's video on the worst piece of classical music, I came accross this. I must admit that I somewhat enjoyed this one, particularly the first movement. It somewhat reminds me to renaissance/early baroque iberic or french organ pieces. In fact, I think it would sound quite good on organ... I might try it

My wife liked it as well. I really don't care for it; as a "battle piece", it is all too simplistic, and superficial, it is what I would call "dumbed down" classical music. BUT I do admit it has a certain something that can lift your spirits, if you don't think too critically for a while! Thanks for listening...

the national air is an adaptation of a trumpet tune by purcell, that appears also in one of his works for the stage
