Never heard this Liszt work but it sounds really great to me on guitar. Excellent playing with that special quality of finger flesh sound added to the mix.

Wonderful. I never for a moment contemplated transcribing anything by the virtuoso Liszt! I don’t know the original, but this sounds beautiful.

Well played, Steven! I wasn't familiar with this piece. I'm going to check out the original too. Some really interesting tonality in this one, especially in the bass. Made for a pleasant listen over lunch.

Thanks Josh -- one of the bass melodies (at the end) was actually in the treble register in the original, but I moved it...

Love this! How long does a transcription like this take you to finish!??

Thanks Tate! It's pretty quick making a first draft (maybe two or three days) -- I enter this hyper-focused state with this kind of thing, and I've heard others describe similar experiences when they write (or transcribe) music -- but then I keep making changes whenever I return to them...

@@StevenWatsonMusic Oh cool gotcha! I remember the days when I could enter a hyper-focused state! Now with a wife and kid it's pretty much never going to happen LOL. I know the feeling, though. Great work.
