I admire your skills and your emotional attachment and feeling for the song. Anyone can hit the right notes. Many can not let themselves go to a different level emotional. For me, that's the key to music. I feel you accomplished that and I enjoy your playing very much. Beautifully played, always loved the 1st melody line to Ave Marie - Great tone too. I passed my grade 8 years ago but stopped playing classical because my nails wont grow,they're as thin as toilet paper,ive tried false ones they sound clicky,nail hardners,the lot but with no luck. I know there are no nails players but they can't capture the essence of the finger tip and highly polished nail to round out the sound , nails have more colour,volume ala Julian Bream my fav,whom i got to see live with his Hauser. My mate Vic played his christopher dean brazilian with that same lovely tone , its soft even with nails because your finger tip hits the string first as you know,then the sound is lounder,can even be more mellow but much more rounded. BTW i bought that guitar off him,unfortunately couldnt get the tone he could with his nails which he took great care of shaping and polishing,so sold it - Imagine its worth now,this was 22 years ago.A brazilian/spruce,great sounding Christopher dean. I was sad for a while ,but moved to steel string ala Tommy Emmanuel style music.and my own pieces. Didnt have a choice ,cant compare with well ramped super polished nails on a classical guitar. One good thing came of moving to steel strings ,i learned to improvise well.I dont use YT as a platform for vids but i have a good following on FB and some private vids on here.
