Angela Pak it's the pedal to the right on most pianos. It makes the notes last longer, sort of like an echo. Not many people play this song using it. For example, listen to Horowitz play this same song, and then this one. I prefer this :)

Que hermosa composición musical. Schubert perteneció a un siglo de oro, en donde una pléyade de músicos clásicos nos han legado las más hermosas melodías jamás oidas. Qué habría sucedido, por ejemplo, si Chopin hubiese vivido el doble de su vida? Él murió a los 39 años y Mozart a los 35. Sin embargo, ahora en nuestros tiempos, transcurre 40 o más años y nadie compone tan sublime como ellos. Adoro la música clásica. Lo peor de todo ésto, es que la nueva juventud, principalmente sólo produce ruido ensordecedor.
