Sure, I accept that K'gari mean something to some Whities & Yellas , but I can guarantee that it does not mean "Paradise". If you know just a little about the indigenous animist religion you know that a "heaven" or a "jennah" have no part of their culture. Instead of going to such place in the sky (that you may believe in), traditional Aboriginal believe in dead ghosts hoovering amongst the living and curses, things to be attended to in daily life etc. Get this, Aboriginal language have no abstract "paradise", period! This "cute" word spelled K'gari can in reality have a rather off putting meaning, but since nobody speak the primitive Badtjalas illiterate para-language any more, so my bet is on K'gari being another undocumented FRESH FABRICATION by some witty Whitie activist. The name just not look "right", probably because it is intended as an insulting social justice intervention. The B.L.M. and other Marxist Anarchists are not just about tearing down our historic statues and desecrating my No: 1 hero the Navigator, Pilot, Map and Rutter documenter and discoverer of the Australian true global location, Captain James Cooks statue in Sydney's Botanical garden was ironically spray-painted by Asian girls working for the Green Party. This new fad is about destroying our heritage of statues and the Fraser Island as well. Remember "Secret Women's Business" on Haymash Island in SA? That S.W.B. was an invention by a white Sydney lawyer and a completely fabrication for political leverage. I know of a women who was lucky to spend every childhood summer on Haymash Island and nobody had ever seen an Aboriginal turning up on the island. At least not in the years preceding the controversial bridge that they claimed would destroy the holy of the holy S.W.B. Same on Fraser Island, No Aboriginals unless they are paid go there. No Aboriginal families lives on the island as afar as I have seen. I have worked in several busy "no entry" Kimberly Aboriginal settlements and that is a secure thing for tourism on Fraser Island not have families there.
