Here's why au nightmare sans won: first let's start off the fact that his only weakness is positivity weapons and not magic, plus his way more experienced since his a hundred years older and he even managed to make killer sans his minion who can btw destroy a timline since he absorbed chara soul (and if that wasn't enough his creator joku said he can destroy a universe in his twitter)

From what I gather Nightmare Sans can use blasters but thats only if he severely underestimates his opponent meaning its more a desperation attack for him. In other words if his opponent is far stronger than he expected or if its someone that knows how to deal with his tentacles very well, he's going to likely use the blasters as a bit of a "Mix-up." Only a few could even make him use his blasters at all one of which could be error 404

Actually nightmare would have lost to nightmare mode. Reason why is because the blaster pretty much vaporizers things. So if nightmare gets blasted so much he can no longer regenerate he losses.

my guy that thing of erasing all his atoms isn't a thing anymore, Nightmare's power scaling is confusing, but the ONLY way to really kill him is by, positivity, and existence erasure (depending from god characters), while nightmare mode sans can pretty much indeed be resistent, but the one he was fighting was a nerfed version of nightmare mode, to make the fight quite fair (even if it was the canon nightmare mode, nightmare would still stomp him up) Plus nightmare mode is bland like, barely has any lore behind, he's just sans who got some weird power out of nowhere, by some weird source that has no lore as well, meaning nightmare sans also wins by lore facts.
